Whenever we can do so to your advantage, we apply the Law Society’s “Transaction” protocol. This is a system agreed nationally between solicitors to ease the conveyancing process. We have been involved in it since its inception.
Contact us as soon as you have decided to embark upon any property transaction. We can then make an early start on preparation and checking of documents which might otherwise cause delay. We will give you an estimate of fees and expenses and can also advise independently in connection with surveys, mortgages, deposits, insurance and other features about which you will need to know.
We will explain to you in outline the steps that will be involved and report to you regularly as each phase of the sale/purchase is reached. This helps you to plan a timetable for when you can move and to keep abreast of what is happening.
And of course we deal with all the legal formalities relating to mortgages and registration of ownership, as well as any queries you may have.
If you decide to rent your home, rather than buying or selling, we can quickly prepare and advise on residential tenancy agreements.
